It’s Coming…
Dec 19th 2006
Today is going to be the slowest day in the history of all days. My Wii is coming. It left Syracuse at about 4am this morning.
The wait will be over. And all I have to do is make it through work.
Well, my throat is a little sore this morning, so perhaps I’ll get sick and go home early
Nah…
Should Have Picked Overnight Shipping
Dec 18th 2006
My Wii is currently in Buffalo…just sitting there. I’m regretting not picking overnight shipping now, but I guess this is an exercise in patience at this point. It was an extra $30 for overnight shipping anyway…meh. I can wait a day. The wii shrine has been updated a bit. I now have a Nunchuck that I picked up yesterday from Circuit City. They had a ton of them there and you need to grab those things when you can. So when I get mine, I’ll have a total of 3 wiimotes and 3 nunchucks.
Time seems to be running about four times slower than usual right now. I hate anticipation induced temporal disturbances.
Speaking of temporal disturbances, I think I may have to send another e-mail to the head of the department at my school about my scheduling difficulties for next semester. He said last week that he’d send me a more detailed reply tomorrow and it’s been several tomorrows without anything. So I’m wondering if he forgot about me.
Mechanical Failure?!?
Oct 26th 2006
Arrgh! My copy of .hack//G.U. was just delayed by a mechanical problem on a UPS aircraft. Hopefully they can get it out to me fast-ish.
I guess that’s not too bad since I was trying to finish Final Fantasy IV Advance before it got here and it just gave me another day to do that.
Still kinda frustrating though.
Update: Oooh, nevermind, it looks like it’s going to make it in time… *crosses fingers*
Just A Random Moment While Driving
Aug 18th 2006
So I was driving home for lunch today (I work close to my apartment, so I go home for lunch every day) behind a FedEx truck. And I look down the road and I see a UPS truck coming down the road as well. I figured since they’re competitors and stuff, one would try to run the other off the road or something. Or play a very slow moving version of chicken…seeing which driver has more courage.
Unfortunately, reality kicked in and the UPS guy just waved to the FedEx guy as they passed by. Darn. Maybe next time they’ll do something interesting.
As I’ve said before, I’m aware that I’m weird. And bored.
