What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?

I only watch 3 TV shows since I don’t have cable and can’t get all the good cable type stuff.

  • Grey’s Anatomy – I got sucked into this show at the tail end of the first season. It’s pretty interesting. I enjoy shows that have a coherent storyline from week to week and this one has a good one so far. Here’s hoping they can keep the interest level up going into season 3.
  • Desperate Housewives – Ok, so I admit it! I’m a closet Desperate Housewives fan! Maybe not so closet anymore… Anyway, I got sucked into the show during the first season after watching an episode with my dad. I then kept coming back. Season 1 was awesome. Season 2 sumbled a bit and I’m watching this new season in hopes they learned from season 2. Probably not, but one can hope.
  • Boston Legal – I watch this show when I remember that it’s on…which is generally every other week or so. I used to always watch The Practice when it was on, so it was a natural change for me to go watch this show too. It’s very funny at times, espically William Shatner’s Denny Crane character. It’s just that sometimes the polotical message they frequently try to incorperate into the plot of the show often feels forced and preachy. However, if you can get around that…it’s a good use of an hour

Impatience and Me

The new iPod has arrived. It’s currently sitting on my desk in it’s brown FedEx box and I can’t open it to play around until I go home for lunch in an hour and a half. Boo!

As far as what happened this weekend, I got completely sucked into Seasons 2 and 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A friend is loaning me the first three seasons right now and after thinking the first one was kinda meh, the second season, epically the second half was amazing. And now moving into the third season, things are even better. I can see why this show was such a hit. I also re-watched Wag The Dog which my parents let me borrow. Good movie. I saw it on TV before. It’s really very funny and does kinda make you think about the spin that gets placed on events, espically in the realm of politics.

Oh, and I forgot to do my history reading again until the last minute. I really need to figure out how to organize myself better.
