There really isn't any local bands in my area that I really enjoy, but…I do enjoy local bands from other areas! So here's my pick:

Wanderlust

Little Atlas

Little Atlas (I've talked about them before) is a really cool local band from Florida that I discovered using the wonder that is the internet. They're very classic prog sounding but with a modern kind of twist to them. Very good stuff.
