QotD: First Signs O' Spring

What, to you, is the first sign of spring? Have you seen it yet?

There's a group of ducks that live in the pond across the street that wander the neighborhood in the springtime and summer. Usually whenever they show up again from wherever they go in the winter is my signal for the start of spring. I refer to them as the neighborhood ducks.

I haven't yet caught sight of them this year. One of them was getting pretty old, so I'm really hoping that he/she isn't dead. That'd be kinda sad.
