Ahhh…finally. It’s Christmas Eve and my vacation has begun. I won’t be back to work (unless something explodes) until January 4th, so needless to say yesterday time was standing still. But it’s finally arrived. Vacation. Wooo! The next several days are going to be consumed with family type stuff. I’m going over to my parents

We’re right in the middle of our first winter storm of the season right now. Snow, wind and sleet/freezing rain later on in the day. Fun! Today was also my first drive to work after moving further away in true winter conditions. We had a smaller event last week, but it wasn’t nearly as bad

I’ve got a few things to report about since my last update. First of all, I think I’ve finally settled on a basic color scheme/design for my mom’s quilting/craft website. I’m still tweaking it at the moment and I’m trying to decide if it looks too…web 2.0-y for the craft content. But I finally found

Not much happening over the past couple days worth mentioning really. I've just been working on my programming stuff and playing some Tomb Raider: Anniversary that I just got through Gamefly. So it's been all quiet on this front. We're experiencing another winter event though, relatively minor. It's only worth mentioning because this is the

My school, for the first time I can remember, canceled night classes due to the threat of snow. Usually it takes 2 feet on the roads, no plows, high winds, power outages, ice and perhaps some sort of structure fire on campus in order for them to even consider canceling classes. I’m not asking questions…I’m

Who taught you how to cook? Submitted by Donna. Mostly, my limited cooking skills were given to me by my mother. That’s not to say she’s not a good cook or anything (she is). It’s just that I’m the one without talent. As mentioned before, if it doesn’t have directions on the back of the

The snow is out to get me. We had a lake effect snow warning in effect for yesterday and part of this morning. I was hoping it was going to snow here early enough so that I wouldn’t have to go to class that night, because if there’s one thing worse than driving when the

Ok, while it’s not Katamari Damacy, I did just finish Suikoden V the second time, this time collecting all of the stars of destiny (Stars…Cosmos…get it? Ok, I admit it’s bad…) The final boss was A LOT easier this time, and the ending much more satisfying than the less than perfect one. My Dad was
