Caught In The Whirlwind
Midterm Aftermath
Just a quick update on the history midterm. I think I did pretty well. Ended up being pretty easy compared to what I was expecting. All of the “Identify these items by writing a paragraph” questions were from the later parts of the semester that I knew really well. Lucked out on that one.
After the test I went over to Barnes and Noble and picked up the Third book in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, The Dragon Reborn. If you’ve somehow missed this series and you’re interested in classic fantasy type novels, then this is a really great series of books so far. I also picked up the first volume of the Penny Arcade collection. The creators commentary for each cartoon really makes the book even funnier.
Man, I go to Barnes and Noble so often these days, I need to look into getting their membership card thing. I’d probably end up saving a bunch, considering how often I find myself there.

And now for the second half of the post I wanted to make this morning. Less updating, more personal stuff. Like I said, I’ve been feeling a bit blargh recently, for a variety of reasons. Some of which would be uninteresting to people who aren’t me, so I won’t get into it. But I want
