Pieter Hintjens has a beef. And it’s with the capslock key. He’s started a grassroots campaign on Google Groups and in his blog. I can’t say I really blame him since I can’t remember the last time I actually used the key for anything important.

Sure, some people might object…there’s some actual legitimate uses of the capslock key out there (No, that doesn’t include chatting in all caps on message boards and chat rooms ;) ). I think eliminating the caps lock key would make the Internet a better place. Well, that and some sort of a boxing glove that comes out of the screen and smacks people in the face if they type in all caps all the time.

And while we’re crusading against the caps lock key, can we look a little bit below it and start an offshoot anti-windows key campaign too?
